I submitted to Google sometime ago. I have changed my website title but the old title still appears in google search.

I have completely changed my content but people still use the keywords in my old content to reach the site.

How can I change all that?

Give it some time to clear out. G will evententually update the page. The best thing you can do, is to continue to build quality content and seek out links.

Hi Brett,
You are right. After some time, the old title and content cleared. But there is another issue now.

People are still using the old content to reach my site so I have a lot of error pages. The pages they are looking for are no longer available.

Also, they are not using my new keywords to reach me. They are still using my old key words to reach me.

Does Google rely on meta tags to index a site or I will have to go for their PPC.How can people use my new keywords to find me? I designed my pages with Dreamweaver MX.

Thanks.

No.

Google generally uses a combination the content of your page, plus an analysis of links pointing to your page. Plus, a hundred or so other things, as well.

Google need to refresh its cache.Bot must see the change and refresh the cache. This may take some time with the sites which are not upgraded regulary or where the rate of link accumlation is not so great.
Wait! or try doing some link building(if that's lacking) this may work as an invitation for the bot.
