I have picked up a couple of expired domains that are:

- not listed on Google (I suspect banned for whatever reasons.)
- doing reasonably well on Yahoo. More than 100 backlinks / directory listing and high ranking for the terms they are optimized for.

What I would love to see is the same lbacklinks appearing on Google and ~similar high listing for the keywords. (who woudn’t). As mentioned before these domains are noware to be found on G even if searching for “site: [mydomain.com”...]

- would 301 redirecting the domain to a new one make Google see the links to the banned domain as links to the new domain and benefit the new ones rating?
- With 301 – Is there a danger of a Yahoo penalty? [webmasterworld.com...]
- Is the best way to leave things as they are and forget about G?

I would like to know if anyone has had a similar situation and what in your opinion would be the best solution.
