Migrated Server... Now PR = 0

Hi,

I recently migrated some of my sites (to what I now know to be a Paris-based) server. The PR ratings for all the pages that have been crawled whilst on the new server is either 0 or grey-bar.

I've checked my host isn't blocking googlebot, he's still showing up in my logs. Is this normal behaviour when moving server, or does it indicate something "bad" about the ip-block I'm in. Could this be something that happens when Google has to recalculate regional results as a website has moved countries?

Second query: My website is a .com, but I am uk based. I know this has been asked before, but other than having a .co.uk or being hosted in the uk, is there any way to be entered into the UK-specific search?

Thanks for your time,

Kind Regards,

John

PS. My new host is Amen. Their dedicated servers are cheap, their support is passable (and fine for my requirements) and their bandwidth/speed is poor but something I can live with.

Does anyone who hosts with them have any ideas about how to tweak the server's settings to improve the speed to which SMTP/FTP/SSH log in? Some of my clients have noticed the speed difference from my previous host and it's annoying me too...
