Home Page PR0 all other pages PR 4-5

My home page has gone from PR5 to PR0 with no apparent impact on search engine results, I'm still getting the same number of visitors to the home page at PRO as PR5.
I'm outperforming sites on competitive search words with PR values of PR4 to 6!

What is more all pages apart from my home page still have PR values typically 4 or 5 its just the home page that has PR0

I wrote to Google help who said the above is perfectly normal, not to worry.

I am worrying, mainly because I havn't got a clue whats going on - all the above seems contrary to my understanding how Google works.
Any explanations?

I have the excact same problem. My home page has been PR0 for several months now with no apperant change in rankings. All my other pages are PR4-5. I don't understand it, but as long as my ranking's aren't affected, I don't really care.
