Hi. What does the absence of a snippet in a Google search results page mean (i.e. just the URL without any description text)? One of our sites has a few thousand pages in the Google index (as reported by site:ourdomain.com ...). But many of the entries as just URLs without snippets, even on the first results page.

I've seen a few of these come and go from time to time in search results pages for that site, but now there are a lot of them in the past few weeks.

URL only listings are becoming quite commmon for a number of dynamic pages in a site. There are a few threads in this forum about it. Try using the search function.
