I'd like to know which incomming links are more valued by Google. Standard links or links that use "_blank" and open website in a new window?

cbpayne: That would depend on what link it is and how your page is set up. If you wish the visitor to keep the main page open while visiting another part of your site or perhaps leaving your site I would use them. (ie; a links page might be a good idea to use target="_blank" in order to keep your visitors from leaving your site automatically, but then again users generally look at the links page last.. so it's no difference or for an image galary)

I believe 'normal' linking is best for general use. (ie; browsing your site) Your pages should have good inbound linking not only for spiders, but also so the visitors can easily go from one page to another without opening a new window/tab.

What if I recently did a homepage link exchange (direct or 3-way) with another site, but I earlier did a reciprocal link exchange with their site from my reciprocal links directory pages?

Is it a problem to have 2 different link exchanges with the same site?

Should I remove the older reciprocal link or keep it?

Reciprocal link is viewed more than the method of link but It covers to C Class IP address, WHOIS information of websites. It is depended on the situation of google views your links.

Unless the page being viewed is a "directory type page" with lots of links to outside sites, I would use the regular link. They can always use the back button.

If you don't want your user to lose the original page he/she was on by opening any link, then use the target="_blank"> command. Its horses for courses. Use what you think is best for any given situation.

Since they're valued the same, I have a policy of never using _blank, because as a surfer I hate it when a site won't let me open a link in the same window. It's friendlier to your visitors.
