I am not from the States and lack information on how Google/Yahoo/MSN/Teoma promote themselves as search engines. Supposedly, some of you may be Google shareholders or you are involved with their competition companies - so you know more. It seems that all search engines must make good money and they declare they invest into development and "providing even better results". I guess a usual person who buys or searches over the Net does not have an insight into whose searches are better. They use Google more because other people use Google more (maybe also because their index page is not so horribly wordy like Yahoo! or MSN). Does google make any TV, press advertisement campaigns educating people to use the Net? Why the competitors do not make themselves more popular by US-wide (worldwide) advertising campaigns?

So that search engines would show that for our money we pay for advertising on their sites they advertise so that more people use the Internet for buying goods.
