Things you cannot find on google search

SEO has made some things unfindable

I have just spent a fruitless half hour on google trying to find the website of a specific hotel I want to visit. I did not want to find pages and pages of affiliate links and travel agents and so on.

I just wanted to go to the actual website of the hotel. Eventually I gave up on google and just tried typing in variations of the name into the browser until I found it.

Have I missed something or is it not possible to find exact sites like this on google any more? It seems that the clever affiliate SEO'd sites just completely swamp the actual business I am looking for. I guess this would also happpen with other very popular (and profitable) searches.

By the way the site I was looking for had PR0 and was simply the hotel brand name-hyphen-location.com.au
