Is this Google?

One of my sites has a link from an SEO website.
Any snippet from any of the pages can be found in G.
However not a single link, all plain HTML, appears to be recognised.
They are not found using "www.example.com".

Anyone got any ideas?
Is there such a thing as a G link ban applicable to a specific page?

If you are asking why a link doesn't show as a backlink, there is nothing to talk about, backlinks blow. They don't show much of anything useful or consitent.

If you are asking why the other site doesn't show for a search of your text on their domain, that would be puzzling, but I'm guessing you are asking the first question.

You might want to consider re-writing the question. Honestly, when I read your post yesterday I could not figure out the question you were asking.

Testing his page with "any text on the page", all such snippets show in G

Testing his page with "www.anysite.com" none of the links on the page show in G

On all other pages of his site, such links do show as indexed.

Any ideas?

Isn't that what you would expect if the site was blocked from passing PR?

Is "www.anysite.com" on the page, or just in the source code? If not, it won't show up with a Google search because they don't index the source code of the page.
Otherwise, use a user agent tool of sorts and change your user agent to Googlebot and visit the page to see if it is the same page.

Is it in the source code? I guess what I mean is it being served as an include or maybe is it an image or something weird like that. It sounds interesting, can you sticky me?

'Tis in the source code as well as on the page.

Everything as normal, have checked all other pages as well.

Link is:
<a href="http://www.mmmmmm-site.com/">Our site</a>

The only possibility, that I can mull over, is a "ban by G on links from this page," unless someone can point out something obvious.

Woops! My original "widget-site" turned out to be an actual URL..................sorry
