Googlebot Following JavaScript Links

Just noticed, Googlebot has started following java script links

Sorry if this has been discussed before.

Looking at my latest visitors, I noticed that googlebot is particularly interested in following JavaScript links that would normally open a pop-up window.

Anyone else seen this?
