not showing all backlinks?

Hi

I have 20 sub pages all linking to each other within a site. I hit the backlinks function on google toolbar and it only shows me 2 backlinks to one of the pages. This is true of all the 20 pages.

When I do a general search for each of the 20 pages they are all in the google search results.

Why dont the other 18 pages show up as backlinks to each of the pages!?
