Am i Banned?

Site has PR of 4 but i get almost 0 hits prior to 300s daily

I have tried to wait this out and even redesigned my site totally....

I used to have a few good Keywords (NO seo at all... just) and a few phrases that would sent a lot of traffic. Very targeted people generating sales.

This was all organic growth, btw.

Out of no where i was dropped from google! i lost all my keywords and basically i only get hits from people searching my site specfically or my site's title.

DO you think i am banned?

I read elsewhere in this forum that a good trick is to ban google in robots.txt for a few months. has anyone tried this?

You are banned if you search for your URL and it's not listed at all.

You may well be last in the SERPS if your URL is in the index but you can't find it for any search term - in that case you've done something naughty and you really need to clean that page up.

Ban google? That sounds like a sure way to make sure it NEVER comes back, and it sounds like you have something to hide. Personally, I'd put that alongside perpetual motion and living to be 200, and instead find out what you've done.

If your page is still in the index, you can at least see the date of the cache and that will tell you more about when things went wrong.
