I am trying to solve a site's problem. The site is example.com and it has got one indexed page:
[google.com...]
That is a mirror page of the REAL homepage: [example.com...]
And notice that the mirrored page has also got frames and redirects...
My solution -
I've asked to make a server redirect from that page to the homepage as I think that one of Google's spam filters was triggered after crawling this page and the actual homepage. The current problem is that the actual homepage is not indexed.
Is that enough? -
What else could I do? I am planning to redesign the homepage with new content as well as create some new incoming links in order to "motivate" Google to crawl the (new) homepage.
Could I write Google as well or is that hopeless?
Time is short -
The thing is that I am short in time and my server redirect solution might be too slow OR may not work at all if G doesn't revisit that indexed page...
Your help ...
