Do a search for:

SES Party Rule #1 [search.yahoo.com]

For those of us who attended SES San Jose you will get the competitive nature between these two giants

I looked around for Tim Mayer's email address to say "thank you" to him personally. I remember when Inktomi hard-coded the #1 search result for the "DMF" query. I remember when FAST/AllTheWeb hard-coded a response for the query Google. Tiny things like that are enormously motivating, at least to me, so I just wanted to ask Tim to thank someone personally for that new Search Shortcut. Someday we'll all enjoy a habanero burger together and laugh about things like this.

Hey GG.

Just for the record, that was the best party ever, with all of the distractions such as a GREAT live band - OZOMATLI, bartenders everywhere, food, arcade games, karaoke (although several of the guests singing - shouldnt have), a free unlimited supply of Ben and Jerry's ice cream with Ben & Jerry's employees's there to scoop it out, great dancing, free Gmail acounts, help with AdWords plus coupons and of course dunking GoogleGuy. Did I miss anything?

This was my third GoogleDance and they keep getting progressively better. Thanks to Google for throwing such a class party - I actually should have posted this earlier.

Oooooh!

Please tell us more about your geeky lifestyle where, for example, you drink - what is it - beer?

Tell us more about these wonderful experiences!

As G Marx famously said - "I'd never join a club that was willing to accept me as a member."

A great American intellect - and now I can see what he meant.
