My website is a PR5, however all my competitors for a one word search term aint much better with the top 20 all around PR6 only about dot com is a 7.

I have been link swapping and growing my website with good content adding new pages and I know pr5 may be poor and I may be putting too much onus on it however I would love to see the results f I could get up to a 6+

Seeing as I cannot find any sites in my genre with a pr7 that could swop links how can I get to a 6? Do I just keep creating good content and keep trying to swop links with pr4 and 5's in my genre or do I go for random websites that are irrelevant - I cant afford to rent links.
