link,s backlinks, I'm confused

confused about links

Hi,

I was just on google and I did an advanced search to find out how many sites were l inking to my site. It said 67, Im disgusted because I have many more links than that on my three pages of links.

What's the deal?

What's the difference between back links and regular links?

In oder to get more traffic, I imagine I need more links, correct/? I've jsut had a few pages optmized.

Please advise.

Google just ruined its backlink command. Ignore it.

Ok Steve, I am going to read it, but when you say ignore it? I should ignore the fact that google that says that I have 67 links linking to my site? Is that what you are saying?
