Does virtual hosting affect PR

I use a virtual hosting server for my website and have a couple of websites running under the same service linking back to mine. How is this perceived by Google? Will Google give less importance to those backlinks despite being from PR5 sites?

google should weight these the same. The generally public cannot tell if it is shared hosting, the only way google could tell is to match IPs. No advantage for them to do that.

However, be wary in crosslinking sites that are on the same ip address (shared hosting).

As I have just launched the site the closest and easiest options for backlinks happen to be shared on the same server despite being owned and managed by different organizations. Is that seen as irrelevant by Google or spammy?
