Google Cache Rendering Weird?

When I look at google cached pages, the graphics at times appear off-kilter, messed up, and just plain wrong. I use css/xhtml in building the pages and all the sites are w3c verified. Could someone explain to me why they appear fine cross browser: IE/Moz/NS/Opera but look flawed in the google cache?

Thanks,

Khem

Google inserts its HTML for their about box and disclaimer at the very start of the beginning of the HTML file. What you wrote may have been valid XHTML, but what Google serves up for the cache certainly isn't because of this.
If you're doing any fancy CSS positioning, it'll probably be messed up by the extra code thrown in at the start of the file.
