My understanding is that eversince Florida, Google is in continuous update mode.

Google continues with the Freshbot scan however.

I made some major changes to my site, and the Freshbot picked it up last night.

Are freshbot changes incorporated in the continuous update right away (should I see my rank change, after a freshbot update, after I make SEO changes to my site), or is their a delay.

If their is a delay, what is the average time after I been freshbotted, should I wait to see if my changes has improved or demoted my SERP position?

I have not been keeping on top of Google, because I have always ranked well, but slowly over time, my position has slowly eroded away, so now I will need to spend a little more time on SEO.

I have seen results after 48 hours for certain pages I added. That product was only on the new pages and I noticed Google referrals and eventual sales. I have decent links coming in, and the new pages stay in the front page for a day or two.

I am refering to SEO techniques on existing pages, not new pages.

But if my understanding is right, then if you performed SEO techniques on a webpage, and after that page has been visited by the freshbot, your ranking should change.

Im a little disappointed in this case.

I added some H1 text for my keywords, added some keywords to my ALT text, added anchor text, which everybody is saying is important, and I actually drop one position to 10.

I am barely holding onto page 1 with my teeth.
