Content Feed - Duplicate Content?

I am currently working on a setting up a content feed for our website and was wondering how would Google and other search engines would treat this? By using this feed options, users will be able to display our website (40,000+ pages) as a part of their own (like a branded website).

What do you guys think?

Hi need scripts.

i am sure you are hosting the 40 k pages on your site, and when you give branded site it will also be hosted on your site itself.

So if you give such thing, i am sure it is duplicate content.

i did it for one of my websites, I provided my content to 3 more people. now i have stopped it

the reason, after around every 3 months, google dropped either my pages, or pages of the other 3 persons.

So everytime we had to create pages with new names and google again indexed those

But the PR and SERPS lost.

So i would suggest that you don't provide this unless you get around 5 k a month from those ppl.

And i can tell you this will hurt you badly, its my experience of around 10 months, i stopped this last month.

well we are thinking of offering branded version, but that will *not* be on our website.. instead, users will be able to create a file (say contentfeed.php) with few lines of code (we will provide the file) and they can have any type of header-footer they want and that's it..

so the content will be hosted on different domains. Or here is a better example, I am sure you are aware of tons of scripts that allows users to create a DMOZ clone, this is something similar, but little bit more controlled and managed.

i think you will offer that using xml and the people can syndicate that content on their websites,

yes there are many dmoz clones, and maybe you can try such thing, but i won't do it unless i get around 2 k a month from each person.
