I just submitted my site to Google 2 days ago. How long should I expect to wait before google crawls my site?

it can be a notoriously long time. my experience is that it is usually weeks but it's also possible to wait many months.

the best thing to do is to use the interim to do the kinds of marketing steps you need to to ensure continued hits. make sure to optimize your site for google's spidering, and build links like crazy, especially from sites with high google pagerank. the more links googlebot sees to your site, the more likely it is to visit. get listed in dmoz and if you can afford it, on yahoo.

I launched a site recently that took 6 weeks to get indexed.

Hi WC,

Sticky me your URL and I will put up a link for you that will get your site spidered very quickly.

Yeah, once you have an incoming link to your site from a site that is already being crawled, you can get in rather quickly.

I was able to get both of my sites listed in less than a week with just a few incoming links to my first site, then with a link to my second site from my first site.

Confused yet?

but these days google is not showing the freash tag for many of my sites though it has many many links to it and its doing well with SERP, even none of my competitos showing a freash tag.

If getting link from high pagerank website , Will google spider you faster? Which one is better between getting links from high pagerank and get a lot of link with a few of pagerank but at least 4? Which way spider will crawl your site faster?

A link from a high PR site will get your site spidered faster.

One of my sites gets hammered by gbot. From that site I can get a site indexed under 36 hours.
