Google and Javascript

Is or is not google able to spider

I've seen many post on many site today about google being able to spider javascript.

Some say yes others say it is in testing mode.

What's the actual story. I am taking off all JS from the homepage at this point.

Well, Google can definitely grab fully qualified links from within JS. That is has been able to do for some time.

As to whether Google actually parses (executes) JS script, there has been talk about them implementing it, but I certainly haven't seen any real proof of it yet.
