Getting into Google taking longer?

Can anyone help put my mind at rest? we regularly put customer sites live and make sure that they are optimised for Google - that is to say we title the pages correctly and make sure there is good, relevant content with reasonable keyword density, rather than heavy duty SEO type work.

Just recently I have noticed that several of our sites have got the index page listed - but with no title, description or content - i.e. just in the format

www.domainname.co.uk/

this is a valid link, and is in the google index, but as you can see, has no further info associated. This has been the case for about 2 - 3 months now. Are these sitee being penalised in some way or will they get crawled eventually - I'm starting to worry . . .
