Question to the forum?
Is it that Google has diminished PR for dynamic pages because of the uncertainty of what the content will be? Are the below explanations correct?
The explanation for MSN would be that since the main page has a pr of 10, subpages would still have pr even in diminished PR rule (for asp/aspx pages).
The explanation for many other sites is if you start with a pr of 5 or 6 then the diminishment ends up being a zero.
mysite.com/page.asp?code=1
mysite.com/page.asp?code=2
mysite.com/page.asp?code=3
They all rank ok. They do seem to take longer to get indexed though.
Session ID's are different as it makes it look like a new, different page everytime.
How do I overcome this so called Google 'sandbox'?
If there is this sandbox, it's really just a waiting game. Google appears to be holding off publishing new pages and sites for a period of time after it has indexed them. It is believed to be an anti-spam device.
I am only suggesting this is a possibility for your site and that .aspx is nothing to do with it.
Are those pages listed in any other Search Engine?
