Back on the 1st of May, I did a total redesign and relaunch of a URL I have had for a couple years, before this it was PR0 and just had a couple Photos on it.
Got some backlinks, ran an adwords campaign and started optimizing the site for popular search terms based on the Adwords hits and Overture's tool. Now it is a PR4 as of this latest dance but I can only find it when searching for very obscure, long KW strings. My backlinks are showing and in some cases, my url is into the top 100 via the backlinks, but I am nowhere to be found for any of my major KW's. I look at the top 1000 that G shows and nothing. I have looked at alot of the pages in the top 1000 and after a bit, many are very off topic for the KW's and many have no PR or backlinks.
I am assuming I should start showing up somewhere, and infact did show up at the 500th place area for a bit before this last update, but NADA, nothing, nope.
Any Ideas, some sort of sandbox effect? Is the PR4 worth nothing? What do ya'll think?
