Newbie question.
My site has about 40 pages. When I do link:www.mysite.com in Google
there is only one link from site-map page. What can be cause of this poor linkage performance?

My menu made in PHP include("menu.php") so maybe this is whys and wherefores of the issue?
Thank you.

if you use link:www.yourdomain.com to search. it just return the back link. if you want to check how many pages indexed by google, you can use site:www.yourdomain.com

wuzexin2000, thanks for your answer. Saing "back link" what do you mean:
1) External links
2) Internal links
3) Outbound links
4) Inbound links/Incoming links

Backlinks are links to the page in question - so that would be (1), (2) and (4) :)

Google's link command only returns a "selection" of links.
