You never know with search engines, It really depends on a few things...

1) If you are trying to rank high for a certain keyword do you have it in there (if you don't it would help).

2) If you already have your keyword in there are you going to shorten the meta tags and title tag or make it longer. If you shorten it up it should help.

If you are already doing good for the keywords you are trying to rank good for I suggest you don't change them for now. One more thing I can't really say if it will help or not nor can any one else (unless we knew what you were going to change it to).

You can change it no problem. Just make sure it is better than it was before.

It sounds like you are overly cautious to put a step forward. If you believe that your new title will attract more users to click through to your site, simply change it and don't worry about Google and serp. Only keep in mind to have your keyword phrase in the title at its best position.

For meta keywords and meta description, I doubt Google has ever paid much attention to them. Whether you have it or not, that should not make any difference. For me, it is more time-saving not to put these two tags on the page.

"For me, it is more time-saving not to put these two tags on the page."

A reasonable amount of small directories use spiders that depend on these tags. If you have them, you get listed..... get listed, and you may get backlinks.

It's probably a small effect, but you never know.
