Google Traffic Growth

I'm pretty new to the world of targeting SE traffic...specifically google traffic so I'm curious to get everyone's thoughts on my current experiences

Over the past 2-3 weeks I've seen my google traffic increase from 0 visitors a day to around 30 visitors per day to around 60-70 visitors per day right now. Is this a common trend of growth and eventually I could expect even more traffic from google? Also, right now most of my keywords are being found on higher listings like top 20-30 or some are even finding hits from top 100-200 pages which surprised me.

This is common. As your ranking gos up for your keyword(s) you will see big jumps, just wait to you get to the front page.
