Greetings,

I would like to know if google reads javascript(and how) cause I've seen some sites that use lotsa keywords on their javascript code as comments... something like

//keyword1 keyword2 keyword3 etc

is that spam for google? Thanks in advance!

I'm confident google would ignore such blatant keyword stuffing.

I have a client that has a PR6 16k pages site, no spam at all. This other site(direct competition) has 100 pages total, PR6 too(dunno how tho). They also have a dhtml menu with many stuffed keywords on its javascript code. And they are No1 on many SERPs. Does it matter?

If you're sure the 100=plus other factors are identical for the two sites (which you can't be) and you're sure that the two page ranks are both identically 6.0 (rather than, say, 6.49 and 5.51) ... then you might have a point.

Otherwise, you're better off crystal ball reading with a bowling ball.
