I have a site. When searching for the exact name on google a link appears but the short summary/description/web site content summary/ is not visible. Where do google look and what do I have to do to have that summary under the link?

thanks / Henrik

Check if your site is still cached. Many sites have been dropped from the index but still appear as a title only in the SERPs

mrdance,

Welcome to webmaster world.

Many of the other threads are discussing this, google is saying that it means that your page is partially indexed, which means that they found it, but have not fully crawled it.

make sure you have a meta description tag in the head of your pages:
<META NAME="Description" CONTENT="short description of your page here">

The only other thing you can do is wait for google to spider and correctly index your pages. If it makes you feel any better, hundreds of thousands of pages are experiencing the same thing.
