Seems like this is going to revolutionize(i.e spam-ize) the web even more, with thousands of pages created solely to have websearch on them?...

Good observation rfung; it's already been going on in wholesale proportions, even beforehand. There's a good discussion that's been going on the WebSearch topic in the AdSense Forum
