Is There a reason Google hasn't indexed my Site in a year?

I've updated it and have ressubmitted it many times over the last year and Google won't pick it up.

Have you checked against all of Google's reasons why sites might not be included at [google.com...]

Completely agree! Get links and G will find and index your site. Also, ensure that you are listed at dmoz.org and other major directories. These use to be easy PR4-5 links ;)

Herenvardo, like you said "used to". It's really tough to say ensure that you get a listing in dmoz because that can take months if not years.

It's too bad that the directory is so overwhelmed.
