Many, many search engine hits...

Kind of weird, in my opinion...

Maybe some of you oculd share your views on the fact that my site is getting 20% of it's hits from Googlebot, 23% from MSNBot, adding to a total of over 50% of all hits coming from search engines.

Not that I mind, of course, it just struck me as odd.

BTW - the total number of hits is low, 250 a month in the 2 months it's been online.

those aren't really hits, msnbot and googlebot are spiders indexing your site, if you have access to full browser stats just subtract any bot hit from your numbers, which would mean that you've had about 125 real page views so far. Keep working at it and those numbers will go up a lot.

Off topic, but I just had to respond to the name. Haven't heard zaphod beeblebrox in 20 years. Makes me think of Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect.

Yeah, I know they're not really hits, I was just amazed at the amount of visits I got from them.

And yes, I know where my towel is, I'm wearing it around my head... ;-)
