I have my homepage set to the UK Google however I see today that they have a Go To Google.com link which links to [google.com...]

Anyone know what this is about?

They treat us like kids you know, if I'm going to Lycos.com then that's where I want to go, I don't want to go to Lycos.co.uk

I realise that some people get it wrong but give them the choice of if they want to continue to .com or if they would rather go to .co.uk don't just assume that we're all idiots.

And by the way Yanks - uk.yahoo.com instead of yahoo.co.uk, is that supposed to be funny? Are we sub-serviant to you? Then why are we now a sub-domain? ;)

hi webdev

if you browse from a country where the language is another than english, and you key in google.com - it gets you to google in the countries specific language. */ncr just brings you to the english version of google. we had this in asia starting about 1 year ago.

hope this helps
