Hope this is the correct place to post this, apologies if it has been stated in another thread.

I have one site that has thousands of link entries in G, many of which are links to users profiles, you know the sort, containing their jobs, likes, dislikes, country etc.

Now I am currently building another site which is in the same general niche as the above site and therefore wish to add the database of users into the new site to alow my existing customers the opportunity of not having to create new accounts again in order to access this additional content.

My question is would this be considered:

"Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content." [google guidelines]

Anyone have a thought on this?

If it uses it's own content than I don't see any problems, but if it shows your users profiles on both sites this would be duplicate content or if you use anything else that's on the first site.

Thanks for that, I'm going for the "it benefits the users" approach, as it really does..

There is to be different content so hopefully G won't mind.
