Have I been kicked out of google?

My rankings in google were never great but recently i hired an SEO expert to enhance my rakings, If i put keyword "MY COMPANY NAME" i show up but i dont show up even till the 15th page for any of my keywords on google. I am doing fine on Altavista and MSN ..but missing completly from google. SEO expert recently optimized my home page and i suspect he stuffed too many keywords in there. He uploaded the new page last week (and google indexed my site after the upload). My ranking was suppose to improve after that page but i am still not there. Is it too early to speculate anything or is there a possibility that Google booted my site off. If i am kicked out, What should i do to get back ASAP. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Shouldn't you be talking to your optimizer about this?

Do you have the old version of our site? Why not upload it if you think that the "improved" version is causing the problem.

One week is way too early, depending on your PR. New pages are generally taking a month or more to get folded into the index.

Rocknroll, you should seriously think about taking over your own Search Engine Optimization chores. Just use the site search here, read lots of threads, and also look around other SEO websites. You don't have to pay anyone to do it, do it yourself.

If you hire some commercial outfit to do it, they might do some spammy, link-farm sh*t that kicks you right out of all the SE's.

(My apologies to those SEO people who are WW members and make a living at it... )

Do u believe that if i upload my older pages, I will be okay. Coz i have heard that if i am penalized on google, it becomes really hard to come up again no matter what you do beacuse you are kind of black listed.

If you're showing up (15 pages down) you probably haven't been booted. If you start knee-jerking then you may end up worse than 15 pages down.

Look the page. See what kind of work you SEO did. Run the page thru the SIM spider, thru a keyword density analysis, look at it without any styling in place, check the backlinks, look for spammy stuff. If everything seems OK then all you can do is wait (well, actually, as suggested, you could read thru these threads while biding your time and learn to do your own SEO.)

it has happened the something to me; my pr went from 6 to 0.
Is there a chanche to come back into the index and get again the pr6? In my case there was something google didn't link on a subdomain; now all the subdomains (all 6) and the main domain are out of index (no results for www.domain.com)

Have I te get a new domain? or have I a chance?

Upload the old version back to the site and then email google directly and tell them you fired the former webmaster that was in charge of SE's.

You need to get a handle on what has happened before jumping in.
I agree with the others that have said it's too early to tell. In addition, you've paid someone to help you, go and ask them for their reaction.

I think you are just being hasty Rocknroll. It's too early to expect results in a week. There are a lot other things than just stuffing the keywords that makes your site appear in top of SERPS. Wati a while, you're not penalised.
