Hi,

Since one week our homepage dropped dramatically, which we could not explain.
Today we saw following results for one of your sites:

Error An Error has occurred and you will be logged out.
www.example.com/ index.cfm?ac=KRdfw&selmetro=dal - 2k - May 30, 2004 - Cached - Similar pages

The site above is still online and the link is fine.
PageRank 6 still there.

Any idea if this is a technical problem or is our site blacklisted?

Thanks for any explanation,

Easyseb

I had exactly this problem recently with one of my sites, a programming error made one of the scripts that ran one section crash when it was a non-windows/mac user agent requesting the page, in this case googlebot, the page looked fine otherwise, but for a while the error code was all that appeared in the serp, then the site vanished for two weeks, I fixed the programming error and about 2-3 weeks later that section of the site is back in the top 10.

You can check this by running firefox with navigator user agent switcher extension set to the googlebot user agent string, or by running the page url through a site like this [seotoolkit.co.uk]. Then see if the error code is repeated, maybe it's already fixed, but if it isn't, you'll be out of the serps soon.
