Hi,

I start on page 2 on a big keyword phrase, it went down slowly with me doing nothing to the page. It made it to page 3 so i started adding my keywords to my index, butit just got spidered and it made no difffrence in SERP. I have a 60 page site and add a page a week. should I add my keywords to my pages that I add every week and hope to go up from thier or am i looking atit totaly wrong and try to take out some keywords out of my index to see if im spaming my keyword and getting penelized. any suggestions welcome. This is a 800k keyword phrase so theres alot of competion.

thanks,
jay

Hi Jlyons1234,

PerhapsI have misunderstood your post, but from what i read you are trying to promote the whole site using a certain key phrase. It is pages that get ranked not the complete site. You only need to optimize one page correctly to get it ranked. Theme may play a slight role, but nothing has been defined in that concept.

jlyons1234,

1)Adding one page a week is okay. Try to improve and add 3-4 page per week and per month 90-120 pages. Wow! soo much of content.

2)Adding kw's to your new pages certainly wouldn't hurt you. Use the kw's in the title and body in a very natural manner. Don't try to over use the kw's for which you are targetting.

3) What next is - Search for LSI&Hilltop here in WebmasterWorld and try to use them in your site.
