I have lots of sites linking to my site but when I use the "link:" operator, Google show only 4 sites. The site is a .no and all the sites that are shown when using the "link:" parameter are norwegian sites. Over 20 other international sites link to my site so I don't understand why I can't see them. Is Pagerank still including all these sites or does it only include the 4 I can see using the "link:" operator? Please help me!

This could be affected by a few things:
1) how recently have you aquired the links from other sites.
2) are all the other sites indexed by google

A good way to check is to take one of the sites that you feel should be recognised by google as linking to you, and to look at one of the other sites that it links to. i.e.
site A links to sites b1, b2, b3 (where your site is b1). Try link:b2. If site A is showing up for these sites, then point 1 (above) may be relevant. If site A does not then maybe point 2 is true, or maybe the sites have been banned...

Tahnk you for answering. Many sites that links to me are indexed but do not show up when using the "link:" operator. For example, when I search for my site name in google, I find lots of places that links to me (forums, portals, private homepages etc.) That should mean that they are indexed, shouldn't it? Do you have any ideas?

Check whether those sites are being counted as linking to other sites. (Or sticky me the details)

mattheusmorgan:
Check also the PR of these pages that link to your site. Google only lists sites that are PR4 or greater when you use the link operator.
