Getting out of the Google indexing problem?

I am seeing increased referals from Google.com

One of my sites lost the entire SERP at Google.com last March (two month ago) and was getting SE referrals only from Yahoo, MSN, Google international sites, etc (but not from Google.com itself).

I know hte site is not banned because it still has PR4 (same as before March) and all the pages are fully indexed. They just didn't rank as well as before for the past two month.

One of the reasons that didnt do well on Google.com was that many of the database generated (.ASP) pages lost their titles and contents.

I know some of the sites are linking to the site (no reciprocal) but I couldn't find any "Bad neighborhood" from my knowledge.

It was ranked # 2 for two word keywords from a million page result for more than a year and half before it banished from the SERP.

I am still getting half of the total SE referals from other SEs (about 1000 uniques/day).

The reason I post this is that I started seeing increased( in fact resumed) referals from Google.com, which I haven't seen for the last two months.

They are only 150-200 uniques a day but I think it is a good sign.

Does anyone see similar things?
Did anyone get Google.com referals again recently back?

I haven't changed anything on the site for the past few months and the site is hardly optimized except the (kind of) long titles.

Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks,

Yidaki

It's natural that you lost a lot of traffic from google then. I've noticed the same with some of my sites. Listings without title, snippet and cache are no listings - they don't come up for any search.

Yes, after having my url-only listings restored again. Now people can find me again for a lot more phrases and keywords so the referals are increasing.

Btw, various movements at google have been reported here at WebmasterWorld recently:

- Coming out of the sandbox [webmasterworld.com]
- Google/ODP Directory Info is back at google.de (and gone again) [webmasterworld.com]

My personal observations since ~ two days:

- Dramatic changes of some serps i watch
- Significant flux (up and down from reload to reload)
- All of my url-listings restored

At the risk of posting false alarm: to me it looks like a coming or already happening update ...

I second that. I noticed today that my site suddenly reappeared on the first page of the SERPs for its major keywords. It was always there prior to Florida, but has been on the second or even third page of the SERPS since then. I haven't made any significant change to this site.

Me too - dramatic change in traffic yesterday.... I'm surprised no one else is seeing something happening.

Leosghost:
The change for my site is already visible on all of the datacenters. However, I don't see significant changes for most of the others sites in these SERPs. I think that it is not a major update, but some algo tweak that is affecting only a small number of sites.

As others are reporting, pages on my domain have dramatically increased their SERP position. Unfortunately, for every page which advances, someone's other page must move back. But it is working in my favor right now. :)
