number of links on google search

pages are changing every minute

Now the problem is that one of my websites had around 2700 links on google

few days back it dropped to 1800, i thought that they are updating and it will be alright within few days time.

Today i am seeing that the links are only 1320 in the search from my website?

i must tell you that it shifts between 1800 and 1320. now you search its 1800 and after 1 minute you search its just 1320.?

can anyone explain.?

I am shocked that my index page is missing from in Google index .... for last 24 hours...without any apparent reason.

If it's allinurl: it's kind of normal: different Datacenters, fresh crawl, numbers just estimated, ...

If it was link: I would be surprised.

Its all that my website has on the google.com search

I was surprised as the figure was 1300 at the moment and then 1850
it happened for full one day, so i don't think it was fresh crawl or something else.

Now it is around 1800 - 1900 for last three days

But i have seen a huge dip in the traffic. i mean the traffic has gone down by 20 % in last three days. There are only 3000 new visitors everyday at the moment just because of this thing that happened five days ago.
