Weird requests from Googlebot

Hello,

Starting approx. last week I have noticed a huge number of 404 requests by googlebot on some of my websites.
Those requests all hav "text/html" appended to the end of the url, like: "/valid/path/text/html"

It doesn not seem to happen with urls containing a filename, only directories.

I've already checked all templates and tried to reproduce the error by fetching a large part of the page using wget - but I can't find any incorrect links.

Does anyone experience similar requests?
