Now that Google Local Search has been out for a bit, I was wondering what everyones experiences with it have been. I have personally found it very helpful for finding things in some areas, like real estate and hotels. The close integration with Yahoo seems a bit puzzling at times on some searches (why don't they use DMOZ instead?), but the results are at least relevant.
I can see though where Local Search is probably having a negative impact on hotel affiliate and real estate directory oriented sites.
