multiple links to my site

I have a site which receives about 50 links from another site (those links are on 50 html pages of that site). My site and that site share the same theme, in fact I am using a banner on that site, which is linked by using an absolute link to my site.

I am wondering now, does this impose a negative thing to my ranking in Google, because I have the idea that other sites who are also using these banners aren't ranking too good as well. Also some of them, are linked from that 50 pages site by using a clickthrough id (which registers something and then redirects the visitor/click to their domain). Those with a clickthrough id, seem to be ranking better.

Can anyone confirm this?
