The Importance of Keyword Spacing.

I am interested if anyone thinks that google uses the space between keywords in there ranking system.

By this I refer to the distance between occurances of the same keyword.

For Example:
If you like Widgets and want more details on up comming Widgets you are now at the largest Widget resource site on the net.

Has the keyword "Widgets" in three places in one sentence.

Does Google see the importance of this page different to a page that has the keywords once per paragraph?This is assuming the amount of content, instances of the keyword and all else is equal.
