Has anybody noticed any negative impact using "private" registration for .com (blocking the personal telephone & address info) - and Google anything.

no. never noticed a problem. Doesnt Google concern itself mostly with content?

I thought so - I guess I am grasping at straws, it was the response I go in an email about not being able to determine my .com ownership or some such thing, but a whois search clearly shows the registrant and the contact name, just the personal phone and address is blocked. So I started to wonder if it was affecting more things than the matter at hand.
