Hi,

I still haven't been listed in the Google Directory yet.

It's been a year and a half now.

Something is wrong isn't it?

The Google Directory is in fact the Open Directory. And there are many many websites not listed in that directory. It is largely hit and miss. If you have a good editor, sites get added quickly. Other times, you may find that your site never gets added, especially if you operate a site in competition with one owned by an editor.

These are all old arguments that have been going on for years. However, the ODP remains the only decent web directory, IMHO.

Yes, the Google Directory is supplied by ODP and is most likely an appropriate topic for that subject.

Sites submitted sit in the queue until such time as someone gets to them to review them and/or include them. And that's how it it is, like it or not.

Sorry, but this is not a Google topic but an ODP topic. Nothing we can do, that's just how it is!
