How long does it take to move up?

Time between getting a PageRank and getting a good PageRank

hi,

just a simple, quick question: let's say my website fullfills most of the necessary requirments to achieve a good ranking, how long would it take to get under the top 20 of the Google SERP?
The website itself can already be found by searching for a characteristic term that is used on one of the pages but the search results of the acutal key words don't show the website under the first 15 pages yet..
