Orders droped off on 4/7 & 4/8 coincidence or google update?

I noticed my orders per day fell dramatically on 4/7 & 4/8. They are 20% of what they have been daily for the past 3 months. Was there an update to google or adwords on 4/7?

It could be coincedence but I'm not sure. I haven't made any site changes during this timeframe.

Did google make some changes on 4/6 or 4/7? I did notice a PR change. But my PR went up, so I thought it would help.

This is being discussed over in the e-commerce forum. Most likely due to the Easter Holiday. Could also be due to travel due to the Holiday, change in work schedules and the warmer weather pulling people away from there computers.

I would check to see how you rank for your keywords. If you still rank good, than it is probably a Holiday slowdown. My site has slowed down the past 2 days also, but due to the Holiday.

A lot of small business owners are doing their taxes...remember April 15 is coming up fast...I think this is a major factor.

I can believe Easter or taxes. I know that every time I sit down to do my taxes, I'm not in the mood to spend any money for a week or so after that. :)

my traffic is somewhat down too... about 15% despite getting a PR7. I atributted to Google moving the data around. I usually notice the same decline around the 24-25th of each month.
who knows...
