Some URL's on the serps are including a space just behind the slashforward after the domainname. Like: [widget.com...] widget.htm. If it isn't a small error (in dynamically building of text), it maybe has a reason. The space shows up very inconsequently, so I can't extract a reason. I'm just curious.

Presumably, this is to help prevent sideways scrolling of the results pages. The space will act as a word-wrap trigger for most browsers.
